ABOUT THE KEEPER
A place to keep the ideas worth returning to.

I'm Rob Walker. Walkernet is my personal library: a home for books, ideas and questions that I want to understand properly rather than simply pass by.
I've always liked the idea that learning is less about collecting answers and more about returning to good questions. Some ideas become clearer with time. Others change completely when you meet them again years later.
This site is my way of keeping those ideas somewhere visible. It is part reading room, part notebook, and part record of things I have learned, reconsidered or simply found worth remembering.
What you'll find here
- Short explorations of books and philosophy
- Ideas that seem useful beyond the page they came from
- Reflections on how we think, choose and live
- Notes I want to be able to return to later
The library will grow slowly. I'd rather keep a smaller collection of things worth revisiting than a large collection of things quickly forgotten.
